We are a creative arts organization based in Brevard, NC that seeks to enrich lives through creative programming with a focus on youth.
Now, more than ever, arts programming is necessary; our kids and youth need a creative outlet to express themselves and to feel encouraged and connected.
Our overall goal is to provide a much needed Creative Arts Hub in our community that builds confidence, creative expression, leadership and connectivity through creative arts. We focus on student-driven, “outside of the box” programming through visual art, music, dance, theater and productions arts.
We recently held our first Acting Workshop for Adults as well. Sarah and Billy also offer private in-person sessions for youth and adults.

SARAH SISKIND
DIRECTOR
FOUNDER
INSTRUCTOR
Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, Sarah Siskind built her career as a professional Singer-Songwriter in Nashville, TN.
Grammy-nominated, with 40+ songs in network TV shows, with songs recorded by Wynonna, Alison Krauss, Randy Travis and more, she relocated to Brevard, NC for a simpler way of life.
She credits her arts-rich childhood for her creative advancement and wants to provide a similar platform for her young children. Out of that sparked the idea for Carolina Creative Arts Center, a Creative Hub where children, youth and adults can cultivate and grow their expression through arts.
BILLY SMITH
CO-FOUNDER
INSTRUCTOR
Billy Smith is an art staple in Brevard, NC and native of Pisgah Forest. As the town’s primary mural artist, private art instructor, teen mentor and Vice President of the Transylvania Arts Council, Smith has already made a huge impact on the arts and youth community of Brevard.
His desire to empower youth in expression through the arts is undeniable and his vision for a Creative Arts Center was parallel to Siskinds’ before they ever met!
Smith's latest contributions to the community of Brevard was the Jordan Street Crosswalk Mural, Morning Social’s indoor mural and outdoor mural at Foggy Bottom Cabins.
